The kids had a great time in Kentucky. They spent a ton of time outside since it was perfect weather. They hunted "Stripey" the turtle, rode in Papaw's car, and checked on the garden. It was hard to pick the pictures to post...there were so many great ones.

Mama Mia
What a great Mother's Day! This morning the kids greeted me with pictures they had drawn me. We went to church and then headed home for a quick nap before Bobo and Cami arrived. The kids took them down to the creek to show them Bo, the creek carp. Of course, he wasn't there today. After some bubble time and driving around the yard, Bobo and Cami had to leave to go out to dinner for their two year anniversary. Tonight, Connie and Robbie (mostly Connie :) cooked me a delicious pasta dinner. I am now laying in the bed listening to my son's leapster as he plays next to me. I am blessed today and always...

Past Bedtime
Well we tried to have a nice visit with Cami and Bobo, but unfortunately the kids were overtired and whiney. So we settled for some good pizza and the beginning of the "Bee Movie". Lily insisted that Bobo and Cami tucked her in and said her prayers while Tate fell asleep in the living room in his sleeping bag. Maybe next time...
At It Again
She is a doozy! These pictures do not do the moment justice because I have laughed all morning. I'm a little sleepy from our late night at the prom, but Miss Lily has kept me on my toes from the moment she woke up. Thanks to my friend, Heather, I think we have almost mastered potty training. However, I found her on the toilet this morning holding her gumball machine filled with skittles (her potty treat). We have had two successful trips to the bathroom today. Even Robbie is contributing with his "Potty Dance". The other pic is of Lily with her "paci". Now Lily is a finger sucker and wouldn't take a paci as a baby, but since she got a Mr. Potato Head, she sticks the face in her mouth and calls it her paci. She whines when you take it away and manages to find it when you hide it. Oh that child!
A Night To Treasure
Last night Robbie and I chaperoned the prom. Despite the misprinted napkins (wrong date!), the "Night to Treasure" went off without a hitch. We even made it official with a nice dinner at Bonefish before-hand. The kids all seemed to have a great time and weren't too much torture for the adults. Of course, Robbie and the boys ducked out early to go watch ESPN.

Thomas the Train
Tonight Robbie took Tate to ride on Thomas the Train and they had a blast. I told Robbie he had to take good pictures since I wasn't going to be there. They got to meet Thomas, Cranky, and Sir Tophamhat. They also had a petting zoo and a ton of train tracks. The boys had a great time while I attempted to take Lily shopping with me to buy a suit. I sure do love the terrible twos! We made it through and met up with the boys for dinner at their favorite...Olive Garden.
Chalk Talk
We have been spending time outside everyday when we get home. One of the kids favorite activities is drawing with sidewalk chalk. Their favorite time is when Nonny comes over because she can actually draw the things they ask her to. Yesterday, Lily had more chalk on her face than she had put on the concrete.
